You may recognize J3M’s from his time backing Tanika Charles, Zaki Ibrahim, Amaal, The OBGMs and more, AFRONAUT marks an evolution from J3M’s previous work. This project includes more intricate production and a clearer vision, we discuss the genesis of the afronaut character and the collection of songs that inspired the project.

He shares about his early days playing in church and finding his voice at York University. He makes history a few times in this episode and we get a special rendition of the infamous Roberts Residence voicemail.
